Description :

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Work with the local team and the Managing Director Africa to coordinate and supervise

daily operations.

  • Manage and prepare internal and external meetings, meeting minutes, projects,

documentation and correspondence which may also require collecting, organizing, and

analyzing data across teams;

  • Collaborate with team members to support various projects;
  • Under the guidance of the Managing Director Africa, liaise with members of the team

to keep things moving forward as per strategic plan and objectives.

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, internal policies and procedures.
  • Assist in monitoring expenses, fulfill duties as assigned by the Managing Director Africa.
  • Maintain scheduling of events and represent the company when needed.
  • Create reports and submit them to the Managing Director Africa.
  • Manage Africa Corporate Social Responsibility activities.
  • Assist Compliance Officer in review of KYC files.
  • When acting as a back up to the Compliance Officer, handle periodic Compliance/KYC

refresh requests received from financial institution/counterparties.

  • Perform duties as assigned by the Managing Director Africa.
  • Anything else which may be required for the proper performance of your duties and the

furtherance of the business.

 

Required Functional and Behavioural Competencies, Qualifications and Experience

  • College or Bachelor's degree from a recognized college/university.
  • 5 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office.
  • Detailed oriented.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Flexible and willing to take on ad-hoc tasks.
  • Comfortable working independently.
  • Strong aptitude in problem solving.
  • Drive for results and have a customer oriented minset.
  • Serve with respect and compassion towards colleagues and external counterparties.
