Description :

As a Financial Controller , your missions are as stated below :

• Custodian of balance sheet side of chart of accounts
• Approver of cash release on behalf of Finance Operations; manage cash statements
• Oversee and set month-end timelines of deliverables, up to period close
• Review and approve manual journal entries
• Month-end month-over-month GL analysis of balance sheet accounts; documentation of variance drivers
• Work with Bell Finance and Bell Tax counterparts with regard to queries on financial results or taxes
• Ensure overall accuracy and completeness of financial statements - P&L and Balance Sheet
• Review and approval of monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Preparation of quarterly Risks and Opportunities list and presentation to Bell Director, Finance and VP Finance for approval to adjust
• Manage annual external audits
• Manage internal audit requests
• Ensure strong accounting and process controls are in place. Identify control gaps and address them. Partner with the business to ensure financial controls are considered when building operating processes
• Continuous review of accounting processes to enhance and improve efficiency and accuracy
• Ensure compliance with various government and regulatory requirements, submissions and deadlines
• Perform ad hoc analysis as required

Profile Requirements: 

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
• CPA, or equivalent accounting designation
• Minimum 5 years work experience in Accounting/Finance
• Knowledge and experience in Moroccan corporate taxes and payroll taxes
• Strong analytical skills and technical accounting knowledge
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in French and English, both verbal and written
• Can easily adapt to changing requirements and demands of the business
• Task-oriented and must be able to work beyond regular office hours if required
• Experience in use of ERP Systems, knowledge in Sage would be a plus
• Proficient in Excel (minimum intermediate level), especially lookups and pivot tables
• Proficient in MS Office
