Our client is a services and investment management firm specializing in real estate.

Description :

Key responsibilities:

All aspects of pre-contract measurement and estimating for multiple projects, with skill set to include:

  • Setting high level project budgets (Rough Order of Magnitude and feasibilities)
  • Measurement and estimating experience in NRM, POMI, CESSM3 and the like
  • Measuring and evaluating / tracking design changes against budget expectations
  • Working alongside clients design and procurement team to evaluate design development costs
  • Value Engineering solutions to maintain project budgets
  • Capable of holding and maintaining high level and detailed commercial meetings with the all stakeholders
  • QAQC of design documentation to ensure compliant and complete for preparation of pricing schedules and tendering
  • Commercial analysis of tender returns and recommendations
  • Aspects of post contract cost management, with a skill set to include:
    • Preparation and issue of monthly cost reports
    • Monthly payment recommendations
    • Manage change control procedures (variations)
    • Manage project cash flow
    • Insurance and Contract review
    • Review claims (costs only).

Experiences and Qualifications:

  • Mix experience including both buildings and infrastructure
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognised university
  • Minimum 5 years consultant experience
  • Knowledge of Fit Out works
  • Experience with FIDIC Contracts ( Trad, D& B, Minor Work)
  • Knowledge in the use of QS software CostX or similar
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skill
  • With valid driving license.
